Being a member of B.I.G. is advantageous in several ways. Meeting every two weeks at 8.00am for 90 minutes is not an arduous task and the bulk of the day still lies before you. Getting to know the other trusted members is key to good networking. Having a team of like-minded people seeking to find business for you is like having your very own sales team. Of course as a member you try to pass referrals and business to your colleagues as good networking is a two way street.
Every meeting gives each member the opportunity to update the group on your activities and successes from meeting to meeting. A ten minute slot is reserved every 3 months so a more in depth explanation of your work and business can be profiled which will help members win business for you. My slot is coming up on Wednesday 27th September. I’m hoping my presentation will make listeners do the former of these two options!!
